Spanish Cedar, Cedro
Intensive overuse has made this wood a rare commodity - good qualities have hardly been available for years. However, much of the alleged Spanish cedar offered on the market, especially in online shops, is often not at all spanish cedar but strong scenting juniper wood (Juniperus procera) from Africa, the USA (Juniperus virginiana) or something else usually strongly fragrant wood that is offered fraudulently. Also African mahogany species like Khaya, Sapeli, Sipo, Tiama, Okume, Doussie or Gabon are sold as Spanish cedar! This wood ruins expensive cigars forever by strong smell. It is as always in the economy: You get what you pay for. You see in this category only a small selection of the available Cedro woods. If you are looking for other dimensions or larger quantities, just ask for an individual offer via our contact form. We still have a large quantity of at least 10 years aged Cedro wood in stock!
