Laburnum (Laburnum anagyroides) seldom grows up to real tree size. If so, the tree has a very hard and dense heartwood with a unique colour ranging from chatoyant gold to chocolate brown, showing a strong lustre when aging. Very attractive for small turned objects but scarce!
