Beech (Fagus sylvatica) is certainly not one of the typical precious woods, this piece from really old stock has earned its toleration in our shop by its decades of storage.
Nice spalted colours!
The boards lie somewhat hollow in the longitudinal direction, but are easy to bend due to their thinness.
