Laburnum, Aubour, cytise, Gouden Regen(Laburnum anagyroides) bushes seldom grow up to real tree size, but have a very hard and dense heartwood with a unique colour from golden to chocolate brown, showing a strong lustre when aging. Very attractive for knife handles but scarce!
