Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata) is one of the most common and well known trees of South-West Australia. The huge burls show richly red to dark red colours and contain a beautifully irregular grained wood, that is most resistant to any insects; even to termites. The burls always show cavities that were filled with resin, which is typical for Jarrah burls. These can easily be filled with fillers or super glue mixed with sawdust!
Please note that Jarrah burl always has small holes, cracks and defects!
