Stabilized piece partially spalted blue buckeye burl (Aesculus californica) with high quality stabilization processing. Maximum penetrated by Plexiglas, giving the piece a very strong but flexible toughness. Easily to be worked with sharp tools. The stabilization is perfect, no water will be collected even after hours of soaking or watering -you may even put this piece into the dishwasher! Extremely fine figured dense burl wood!
Please note that even in stabilized buckeye there may be unfilled holes. These are easily filled with a drop of black super glue.
