Australia's vegetation is clearly dominated by the eucalyptus species. These form approximately 70 % of all trees growing there, and approximately 750 different species are known in this plants family. Besides perfect evolutionary adaptation to this continent and living conditions, the eucalypts have developed strategies to survive the random bush fires, as well as showing their extream vitality in growing an abundance of burls on their stems. Accordingly, variegated and astonishing different types of Aussie wood burls are displayed here!
